Malaspina Area – Pioltello

The project proposed for the competition was the redevelopment of the large area between the San Felice and Malaspina districts and Besozza Park. In the masterplan, buildings and roads for vehicular traffic are located along the boundaries of the area, while the large central open space is dedicated to services. A vertical pedestrian axis connects the new residential area with the existing public spaces and services.
