Pietra Ligure Waterfront
The project for the Pietra Ligure waterfront was developed as a proposal for the competition to transform the former Rodriguez shipyard into a marina with residential, commercial and accommodation facilities. The central element of the project links the main public spaces from east to west, from the new Piazza di Levante to the square in front of the hotel.
Data
The residences are articulated to enhance and maximise the views. Each apartment is designed with angular exposures and large terraces overlooking the sea and harbour. Along the promenade there are small buildings for commercial activities such as a harbour information centre, bars, restaurants and shops.
The hospitality area of the new port of Pietra Ligure is divided into two sections: the new hotel on the western border, with wellness areas and terraces overlooking the sea, and the former canteen of the Rodriguez shipyards, renovated as a boutique hotel with a private garden, direct access to the beach and an infinity pool overlooking the sea.
